Steven Barston started taking pictures at the age of 10, and self-published a book of photos at 18. After studying commercial photography at
Rochester Institute of Technology, he took the Chicago market by storm, shooting portraits, fashion, and music for a wide variety of clients.

Since making the move out west to Los Angeles in 2004, he’s shot more actors, athletes, and musicians than he ever knew existed, and ventured into the world of advertising, shooting campaigns for Miss Me Jeans, Leg Avenue, Sexy Hair Concepts, BBDO West, Schwartzkopf/Henkel, and numerous others.

Steven lives with his wife, children and dog just outside of downtown Los Angeles.
